GRAMMAR LESSON 28 The skill for the week is continuing to use commas in sentences. Commas are also used in sentences to separate words in a series or list and after introductory words. Continue to help your child see the different ways commas are used in a sentence by looking for them while reading.

Please remember that your child will return to PV close to 3:00 p.m. which means you will need to pick them up in front of the school by the flagpole. On Friday, May 9th at 8:40 a.m. we will hold our Field Day for the students. If you want to come and watch we'll be on the playground fields at that time. One more reminder is that your child will receive their hardcover book at our Author's Party next Wednesday, May 14th at 1:15 p.m. Please arrive a few minutes before that and report to our classroom.
