This is almost the first time I've been able to sit down in the last few days and get on a computer. By now you're aware of the fire and our classroom move.
We've settled into a much larger space with bright white walls and our new space even has its own bathroom! It's going to take a little while to get ourselves organized but it will happen. I'm very proud of this group for how they are handling the situation. Lots of emotions are being felt by all, but I'm so thankful this fire did not happen when the students were at school. Leaving behind 34 years of stuff for me has been difficult. I'm still hopeful that the smoke damage wasn't too bad . No news yet so there is still hope. I have a sign above my door to my classroom that reads, "TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST , BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO." We'll press on and we'll adjust and learning will still take place. Thank you all for the support you have shown. I'll see you in Feb. at PT Conferences.
