This is my last post for the 2020 . I really can't believe we are at the Christmas break already. This week during Math and Reading we'll do some fun activities related to Christmas. There will not be a lot of SEE SAW or homework sheets this week. The students will still be working but not in the typical way. Beginning Wednesday- Sunday of this week I want you to put the iPad on the shelf and be sure it's not on. This is a time to focus on being with family and the screen time should be zero.
Next week I would suggest your child spend time reading books, staying sharp with your flashcards and getting outside and getting fresh air. Leave the iPad off and rest the eyes. As of now I do not know the schedule for 2021 but long for the day when "My Champions" return to our classroom! It's going to be a beautiful sight to see them walk through the doors again. Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year. I truly believe that 2021 will be a great year and we will someday look back at this past year and be stronger for our courage and perseverances for getting through it. In case you didn't hear about the rounding lesson and the amazing dog I use to have here it is. www.loom.com/share/c698da7f7961478c93837284f993d5e5
